When I was a kid, I wanted to be a teacher when I grew up.
And as childhood career dreams go, I took mine pretty seriously.
On many afternoons, my friend Katie and I would get together to "play school." (Yes, we were playing school after we had attended actual school. Nerd alert!)
We would line up our dolls on her living room couch and do "roll call." We guided our attentive students through art projects, read them stories, graded their work, drafted permission slips, and wrote letters home to their "parents" when they misbehaved.
It was SO MUCH FUN.
Outside of imaginary land, I actually taught my youngest sister her first three letters using a real teaching curriculum.
My family even had at one point – glory of glories! – a REAL overhead projector.
Clearly, I was living the dream!
But as I entered my actual work life, I didn't pursue teaching. I found I had an ease with writing and a terrible fear of speaking in front of groups. I've had small chances to teach things here and there, but overall I've carried a sadness for dropping the ball on that vocation my childhood self loved so much.
Until now!
So much of the work I do with my clients is really teaching disguised as "advising" or "coaching." I just love that feeling of empowering people with new knowledge and skills. And I've decided it's time to do it in a bigger way.
So in a few weeks, I'm doing my first webinar!
I'm equal parts nervous and excited. I keep thinking, "I can't believe I'm going to do this!" And then immediately wonder, "Why haven't I done this sooner?"

Here's your chance to watch me be awkward on live video!
Oh, and learn something, too :-)
I'll cover some simple ways you can activate your website copy throughout your business – so your marketing is more consistent and effective.
The goal here is to explain how you can do more with less.
Because around this time of year, we all have less time and energy to spend – we're already spending them on gifts, holiday parties, airborne illnesses, therapy sessions, and sleeping in because it's too damn dark in the mornings.
Just me?
Right, didn't think so.
Ok then! Go ahead and reserve your spot for my (first!) free webinar.
(Eeeeeeek!)
Cheers,
Anna
